02
Sell the entire book or part of it. Mark it personal or commercial, and name the state. DeskWrk does not list life. Name the carriers, how many policies are for sale, the lowest premium, the highest premium, the total premium, and the moving loss ratio. The 12-month loss ratio is required. The 36-month figure is optional. Leave out policyholder names and policy numbers.
03
Enter the average commission and a renewal rate of 100%, 90%, or 80%. First-year commission is the total premium times that commission times the renewal rate. Personal books are often priced at 1.5 to 2.5 times that commission. Commercial books are often priced at 2 to 3 times. You still set the price.
04
Listing is $99 plus 0.1% of the total premium. DeskWrk is in beta, so a discount code is required to list. A code for 100% lists the book without payment. A smaller code continues to payment. After DeskWrk approves the book, it stays on MoreWrk for one year.
05
You can take bids. A buyer can still purchase at your price. There is no auction clock. A bidder can set a time limit for you to accept. When that time passes, that offer is withdrawn.
06
The book stays off MoreWrk until DeskWrk approves it. You can withdraw it while it is pending or while it is live.
