DeskWrk

Privacy

DeskWrk is a marketplace for licensed insurance agents. This page says what the site keeps, what other agents can see, and how to ask a question about it.

What an account includes

Joining stores your name, email, agency, mobile phone, the states where you are licensed, and an NPN if you provide one. If you add an address on your profile, that address is kept for notices on a mutual NDA. Listing a book stores the book details you enter. Those details are not supposed to include a policyholder’s name, a policy number, or other personal information about a customer.

What other agents see

A public listing shows your initials and the states where you are licensed. It does not show your name or agency. After you and the other agent both accept the mutual NDA, the two of you can see each other’s name, agency, email, phone, and notice address. DeskWrk staff can see the full account in order to verify an agent and approve a book.

Texts and the sign-in cookie

Your mobile number is how you log in. DeskWrk texts a code to it. It also texts the seller when a new bid or offer arrives, and it texts a Wanted poster before a listing is due to re-up. A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in and is refreshed when you use the site. It lasts 30 days from your last visit.
